ベルゲン空港で〜at Bergen Airport

ベルゲン空港で、最後にもう一度フィッシュスープを味わうことにしました。
We decided to enjoy fish soup once again at Bergen airport before we left Norway.

値段をあまり見ずに注文したところ、

驚くべき値段を言われ、もう一度聞き直したほどでした。

We ordered the soup without seeing the price well. 

We were so surprised when the staff told us the price that we asked again.

スープ２人分が25％の税込で338 NOK($ 40/ 4800円）もしたのです。

でもこのスープ、とにかく美味しかったのです。

その値段に値する美味しさでした。

The price of two bowls of soup was 338 NOK with tax! ( 40 USD/ 4800 JPY) However, the soup was much more delicious than I had expected. I thought that the taste was worth the price.

Bergen was very cute and quiet city.

We walked around near the hotel. 

近くの美しい広場。左側が私たちのホテル。

This is a public space. The flowers were beautiful! Our hotel on the left side.

There was a pond with a fountain.

家がとても可愛らしくて、綺麗な眺めでした。
The houses looked cute. I love this scenery.

噴水の水を当てられても我慢している表情が面白くて写真を撮りました。

There was a small pond with a statue of a cute boy.

His expression that he managed to survive a water attack was very impressive!

とても美味しかったソフトクリーム。

ノルウエーのソフトクリームは味が濃くて私の好みでした。

This soft ice cream was very good! Soft ice cream in Norway has very strong flavor.  I loved it.

エドワード・グリーグ博物館〜 Edvard Grieg Museum

エドヴァルド・グリーグ博物館へのバスツアーに参加しました。
グリーグはノルウエーの作曲家です。

We took a bus tour to Edvard Grieg Museum. He is a Norwegian composer.

グリーグが22年間妻と住んでいた家

彼は作曲に専念していた一方、妻は社交的な人だったそうです。

This is the house where Grieg lived with his wife for 22 years.

He devoted his life to composing, while his wife was a sociable person.

正面にはフィリョルドが一望できる窓
部屋の右側にはベッドが置かれ、左側にはピアノがあります。

There is a window facing a view of the fjord.
There is a bed on the right side and a piano on the left side.

左がコンサートホール。ユニークな草が茂っている屋根。
右にはグリーグの彫刻。
コンサートホールと彫刻の間に赤いコテージと海が見えます。

This is the concert hall on the left side. The unique roof is covered in grass.
The statue of Grieg is on the right side. We see his red cottage and the sea between the concert hall and the statue.

私たちもこのホールでコンサートを楽しみました。

このホールでは毎日グリーグの曲を使ったピアノコンサートが開かれています。

We enjoyed a piano concert in the hall. They have a piano concert with his musical piece every day.

このホールは大きくなく、舞台のピアノの向こう側の窓から

彼のコテージを見ながらピアノ演奏が楽しめました。

The hall is not big and we enjoyed the concert seeing his cottage through the window over the piano.

フロイエン山〜 Fløyen mountain

ケーブルカーでフロイエン山に行ってみることにしました。

山頂までは約７分かかり、上って行く間にフィヨルドや街の眺めを楽しめました。

 My husband and I took a cable car to Fløyen mountain. It took about 7 minutes to reach the top, and during the trip, we enjoyed a magnificent view of the fjords and city.

The station is up the hill from Bryggen.

A cable car had arrived the station.

私たちは一番後ろの窓席で、後ろ向きに上がっていきました。
トンネルを抜け、窓から広がるフィヨルドの風景を堪能できました。

When the cable car went up the mountain, I was sitting in the last row of the cable car facing forward. Then, as the cable car climbed up the mountain and came out of the tunnel, I could see the scenery unfold around us.

絶景が観れるデッキ。

This is an observation deck 

頂上にはこんな可愛らしい音符が入った柵もありました。

I like the fence with notes. 

頂上の脇は下から歩いて登ってくる人達のために登山道があったり、
子供たちを遊ばせる公園がありました。

There was a mountain trail to the top and playground for children.

芝生もあるので私たちもゆっくり過ごせました。
We relaxed on the lawn.

ベルゲンのブリッゲン地区〜 Bryggen area in Bergen

2015/8/10

 ベルゲンのホテルに到着し、ここで私たちのツアーは解散になりました。
翌朝、まずは魚市場とブリッゲンの街並みを楽しみました。

Our tour group arrived at our hotel in Bergen and we went our separate ways from there.
My husband and I enjoyed looking around the Bryggen area in Bergen and the fish market.

その街並みとフィヨルドの風景が"アナと雪の女王"のシーンの中のモチーフとなっているとも聞きました。とても可愛らしい街並みでした。

We heard that the Bryggen area and the  Fjord scenery were used as inspiration for the movie Frozen. The area was very cute.

この建物の並びはブリッゲン地区と呼ばれていて、

ここは世界文化遺産に登録されています。

These buildings are called Bryggen: it is a World Heritage site. 

They were used as commercial buildings once.

ブリッゲンの中にある１４世紀に建ったと言われている建物の中にある歴史あるレストランで昼食。

We had lunch at a historical restaurant in a 14th century building.

サーモンソテー

シーフードは美味しかったのですが、その値段には驚かされました。

２種類のスープ、サーモンソテー、ムール貝のバター蒸しの４点で

チップも入れて1040クローネでした。日本円にして¥15,600！

We enjoyed the seafood but the price surprised me. Two soups, a salmon plate and a bowl of steamed mussels were 1040 NOK (120 USD)!

最初に見たときは何かわからなかったけれど、
これはトナカイの干し肉でした。初めて見ました。

I didn't know what this was at first. I learned that it was dried reindeer meat. This is the first time I have ever seen it!

2日目のランチはここで食べました。

美味しかったのですが、ここも安くなかったです。

デンマーク、ノルウエーの物価は本当に高かったです。

ペットボトルの水１本は約300円以上でした。

We enjoyed the seafood for lunch here on second day.  It was good but it wasn't cheap.

The prices in Norway and Denmark were very high. A bottle of water was about $3.
