Uzumasa Movie Village~ 太秦東映映画村

We drove to Uzumasa Movie Village. A actor gave us a tour. Here we could enjoy movie locations and a set of Jidaigeki.

その後、太秦東映映画村に行きました。
ここでは俳優さんが映画村の案内，
舞台裏の話などをしてくれるというツアーに参加。

 　　　　　　　　　

Amanda said-
This was SO COOL! The actor did a fabulous job of taking us into the world of Samurai films. (And I must note that Tetsuji did a fabulous job of translating the entire tour for us- not an easy feat!)

本当に良かったわ。この俳優さんは時代劇映画の世界に私達を連れて行ってくれたの。

この俳優さんはとても丁寧にガイドをしてくれました。
ただ、説明の後に、さあ、どうぞ訳してあげてください、と言われ
夫はその説明に追いつくために機関銃のように英語を話さなければならず
本当に大変だったと思います。あー、良かった夫がいてくれて。

Amanda said-

Poor Dad. But Mom looks like a princess...

パパは気の毒だけどママはお姫様みたい

I was very happy to learn that John and Tetsuji developed a good relationship during this trip. They talked a lot. For men were surprised by how much they had to talk about!

この旅行を通して嬉しかったのは、

夫がジョンと良い人間関係が出来たことです。

２人はいったい何を話しているのかというくらい話題に事欠かず、

ずっと話し続けていて私達女性軍をも驚かせました。

アマンダ達によれば、ジョンは家でもずっとしゃべっているとか・・なんと夫と同じ！

２人とも良くしゃべる人たちだったのでした。
