フィヨルド観光クルーズとフロム鉄道〜 Fjord sightseeing cruise and Flam Railway

2015/8/9

翌朝、バスでグドヴァンゲンへ。
そこからフロムまでこのフェリーでフィヨルドクルーズです。
世界で一番長いフィヨルドと言われているソグネフィヨルドを
約2.5時間のクルージングでした。

Next morning we took a bus to Gudvangen.We started our Fjord cruise to Flam on this ferry.
Sogne Fjord is the world's longest fjord. It took about 2.5 hours to reach Flam.

両サイドは切り立った山々に囲まれていた。

自然の偉大さを感じました。

Both sides were surrounded by steep mountains.

I felt greatness of nature.

This ferry came from the opposite side on the same course we were on. 

フロムに到着

This is Flam.

フロムから列車に乗り換え海抜2mのフロムから

急勾配の山岳鉄道に乗って海抜867mのミールダールに向かいました。

We took a one hour railway trip from Flam to Myrdal. (from 2m to 867m above the sea)

川の水はとても透き通っていました。

The water in this river was very clean.

                                     

途中、フォス滝が目の前にあるホームに降り、写真撮影。

We got off the train and took photos in front of Kjosfoss waterfall.

列車から見る景色は綺麗でした。
 The scenery from the train was beautiful.

ミールダールで列車を乗り換えてボスに向かいました。

We changed trains at Myrdal to continue to Voss.

ノルウエーの神話に出てくるトロールが駅の外で出迎えてくれました。

A mythical creature in Norway: A Troll welcomed us outside of the station.

日本のガイドブックではトロールはノルウエーの妖精と書かれていますが、妖精というより可愛いらしい妖怪に見えました。笑顔は愛らしいです。どこのお土産店にもトロールの人形はありました。わたしもノルウエーの思い出に一つ買いました。

The Japanese guidebook said that the Troll is a fairy in Norway.  However, I think he looks more like a kind of cute monster than a fairy. Anyway, I like his smile. We saw trolls in every souvenir shop and I got a troll doll for my memory of Norway.

ボス駅から我々を待っていてくれたバスでベルゲンに向かいました。

ベルゲンまでは約30分かかりました。

ベルゲンではラデイソンブルーホテルに宿泊でした。

We left Voss on a bus that would take us to Bergen.

It took about 30 minutes. We stayed at the Radisson Blu Hotel.

バスでフィヨルド観光〜Fjord sightseeing by bus

2015/8/8 

日本語でのフィヨルド観光ツアー（オスロ発ベルゲン着）に参加しました。
フィヨルド観光はとても楽しみにしていたので、ワクワクしていました。
観光バスはオスロのホテルを出発し、途中、観光のために何ヶ所か停まってくれました。

My husband and I attended a fjord sightseeing tour that was hosted in Japanese. 

I was so excited because I was looking forward to sightseeing on the Fjord. We started from Oslo while enjoying the views of the fjord. Our bus stopped at a few point; we enjoyed some good scenes and I also took some photos through the window from our bus.

途中下車して見たボルグンド・スターブ教会
We stopped at Borgund Stave Church.

ちょうど結婚式をしているところでした。

実際にスターブ教会をみましたが、やはりユニークで印象的な造りでした。

A wedding ceremony was just held at the church.

I saw a stave church in real life and it was really unique and impressive shape.

We felt the long history from this bridge with piled stones.

川の流れはとても速く、水は信じられないくらい透き通っていました。

サーモンが生息していることも納得できます。

The river flowed very quickly and the water was unbelievably clean.

I understand why the salmon love this water.

私たちが宿泊したブラカネスホテル

This is Brakanes Hotel, where we stayed.

ハルダンゲルフィヨルド地区にありますが

ハルダンゲルフィヨルドはその穏やかな美しさからフィヨルドの女王と呼ばれています。

This hotel is in Hardanger Fjord area which is called the Queen Fjord because of its calm beauty.

外に出るとフィヨルドが目の前に広がっていました。

花々が咲いている綺麗な庭からは、透き通るような青い空と海、壮大なフィヨルドを堪能できました。

We could go outside to see the Fjord. There was a beautiful garden with flowers in front of it. We enjoyed the clean blue of the sky and ocean along with the grandeur of the Fjord. 

ホテルの部屋は可愛らしく、こじんまりとして居心地もよく、清潔でした。

The hotel room was cute, cozy and clean.

ビグドイ地区〜Bygdøy

2015/8/7
フェリーに乗ってビグドイ地区に行きました。

We went to Bygdøy by ferry.

ここからフェリーで20分くらい。

It took about 20 minutes by ferry.

ノルウエー民俗博物館

The Norwegian Museum of Cultural History

フェリーを降りてから邸宅の並ぶ坂道を歩くこと15分ほどで民俗博物館に着きました。

We went along a sloping road from the pier; it has many mansions for about 15 minutes to the Norwegian Museum of Cultural History.

どうしても見ておきたかったスターブ教会。

I wanted to see a stave church most of all.

バイキング時代終わり、12~13世紀の間に多くが建てられたと言われているノルウエーの木造教会です。

屋根の上には龍の頭がついています。バイキング船にもつけられていたそうで、龍の頭は魔除けだったようです。

Many of stave churches were built between 12th and 13th centuries; they were made by wood. On the top of the church were heads of dragons. They were a kind of charm to protect people from harm.

なんとも独特な作りで印象的でした。

The structure was very impressive.

この教会はゴルというところから民俗博物館に移築されたものだそうです。

中も当時のまま残されていました。

This church was moved here from Gol. 

The inside was untouched.

博物館の敷地にはこのような民家も移築されています。

屋根の上に草が生えていて何とものどかな感じでした。

There were many houses of that time. I felt the peaceful and calm life when I saw the houses; they had grass on the roof.

当時の服装を着て、その頃の生活を再現してくれている人々。

People wore the clothes of that time and they recreated the life of that time.

                         フォークダンスを披露してくれる時間にちょうど間に合いました。
                                              We were in time to see the folk dancers.

部屋を占領してしまうほどの大きさ。

The ship was so big; it occupied the entire room.

ちょうどお腹が空いてきました。

We are getting hungry.

博物館の外の売店で食べたサーモンハンバーグ。
注文してから焼いてくれました。上に玉ねぎのソースがかかっていて美味しかった〜

This is a salmon hamburger that we bought at a stand outside of the museum.
The staff baked the salmon after we ordered it; it was topped with onion sauce, and was delicious!

オスロ市内観光〜 Sightseeing in Oslo

2015/8/7　市庁舎〜ノーベル平和センター〜国立美術館

オスロパス24 （買った日時を自分で記入。公共交通機関は24時間フリーパス）を購入して観光開始。

We bought an Oslo Pass for sightseeing; we wrote the date, month and time on it, then it was valid for 24 hours on public transportation.

ここが正面玄関。

正面にある２羽の白鳥の彫刻が印象的。

A statue of two swans in front  of the entrance was impressive.

中はホールはこのように広く、名画が飾ってあります。

このホールはノーベル平和賞の授賞式が行われることで有名です。

Inside is a big hall; this is famous for being the setting of the award ceremony for the  Novel Peace prize.

天井も高く周りは立派な壁画で囲まれていて、まるで美術館のようです。

２階にはムンクの絵もあるということですが、この日は閉鎖されていて入れませんでした。

The ceiling was very high and there were large painting on the walls around the hall. I felt like I was in a museum.  I heard that there is a painting by Edvard Munch on the second floor, but we couldn't go upstairs that day. 

扉のデザインもこのように凝ったものでした。

The design of the entrance door was exquisite.

 続いてノーベル平和センターへ歩きます。
Next, we went to the Novel Peace Center.

You can buy a chocolate that is designed to be the same size as a real medal.

国立美術館
National Gallery

”ムンクの叫び”　の油絵はムンク美術館ではなく、この国立美術館にあります。

The oil painting "The scream" by Edvard Munch is here, not in the Munch Museum.

ノルウエーの画家であるムンク。彼の絵画だけを飾った１室がありました。

幼い頃に母を亡くし、続いて姉を亡くし、自らも病弱だったムンクは死への不安、孤独感が強く、その思いから描いた絵画が多く、観ている私の気持ちも沈みました。

Edvard Munch is Norwegian painter. His works are on display here.

He had the miserable experiences of losing his mother and his sister. He also had a fear of death and loneliness from having weak health.  This affected his works. I felt sad after his works.

次はフェリーに乗り、民俗博物館があるビイグドイ地区に移動です。

Next, we went to Bygdoy by ferry to see the Norwegian Museum of Cultural History, the Viking Ship Museum and the Kon-Tiki Museum.
